Time to get lit.

Leaders Need Support Too

You’re successful by most measures. You’re a leader. You're the go-to person, the problem-solver, the one everyone relies on. You’ve heard people say, “I don’t know how you do it all.”

BUT, on the flip side, your boundaries feel undefined, you’re giving more than receiving, regularly operating above a realistic capacity, overlooking your health, and not feeling “lit up.”

If you're thinking, "Yep, that's me," then you've found your spot.

Hi, I’m Marissa. Coach to high-performing women leaders.

I specifically focus on helping high-achieving, successful women find more balance, more joy, set meaningful goals (career AND personal) and take control of shaping their life into something that is more inspiring to wake up to.

The flip side to being a natural leader and having a high capacity is that your avenues for support are more limited. You are not average. So, average support doesn’t work for you. You’re one step ahead of most people.

Some common examples of where I coach clients:

  • Setting boundaries that protect your energy

  • Crafting a life where work and personal fulfillment coexist

  • Figuring out & losing the “guilt” patterns that high achievers often have

  • Bringing more joy and wellness into your daily routine

  • Working through difficult relationship dynamics

  • Challenging limiting beliefs you have a hard time admitting out loud

  • Planning for that next big achievement, in a way that feels authentic to you

Why me?

So why can I help? Because I am you in many ways :) I understand you. I’m wired to be a Type A achiever. I have a 23 year career as C-Suite, Owner, Board Member and now I’m CEO of a successful consulting firm and coaching business.

I have lived what it feels like to be the leader that everyone else goes to for help but struggles to admit I need support too. Or find the person who can actually help me.

But, after losing my dad in 2019 followed by Covid lockdown, I was disrupted. I was forced to stop and look around. I had some major realizations about my life that I’m happy to share if we chat but long story short, it propelled me to make changes. I went deep with my own coaching on blocks, boundaries, defining vision, tapping into the light inside me.

In 2 years I completely transformed my life (literally) and now live a genuinely joyful existence alongside the best years of my career yet.

And, I became passionate about helping other women like me do the same. So, I learned how to coach others through the top accredited programs in the coaching space. And now I work with clients 1:1.

If you’re interested in learning more, schedule a chat and we can decide together if 1:1 coaching would be a good fit for you.

“When I came to Marissa I had exceeded the expectations I had for my career and I was also completely drained, spent and exhausted in search for balance and boundaries.  I was at a point where I couldn’t enjoy all of my successes.  I have read books, tried several tactics and always found myself falling back into the same patterns.

In working with Marissa I found myself making small changes every day and learning how to set boundaries to where I can feel myself changing and can see the balance I am striving for.  She is also an amazing person and listener that gives me a sense of calm and hope that my version of balance is possible.”

“Marissa’s guidance has impacted my life in so many significant ways. I am eternally grateful. Confidence, clarity, understanding how to do the inner work and actually apply it to my success journey. I recently went through an extremely big life shift and growth curve and she was my right hand mentor through it all.”

“Marissa brings her diverse wealth of knowledge to her coaching sessions.  She helped to bring several moments of clarity to me for some things that I had been struggling with internally.  I felt so resolved and it created such a perspective shift for me that was noticeable and I was able to share with friends.  Marissa is also well researched and brings a breadth of life experiences that I genuinely valued.”
